I had an odd nightmare this morning.  I was returning from a sci-fi convention in Mexico.  I was in a car with Elizabeth Moon (driver) and Chris Roberson (passenger seat).  We were somewhere before Austin when I saw a mushroom cloud to the north.  Dallas had just been nuked.  I saw 3 more and then they started moving south.  When they were getting close to Austin, I asked Elizabeth to stop the car and turn around.  Chris got out of the car because he would rather die with his family than run away.  Elizabeth said to me that years from now, kids were going to ask her what she did and even though she was going to tell them a story, she would know that she stopped and turned around.

I woke up with us heading back into Mexico, worried that the readiation was going to catch up to us.

I wasn't a pleasant dream.
